As alluded to above, Todd most recently held a prominent inhouse position as assistant general counsel responsible for all legal affairs regarding the trucking, distribution, warehousing, and logistics operations for a multibillion-dollar company who happens to be the world’s largest home furnishings manufacturer. Prior to that, Todd was general counsel for one of the largest private motor carriers in the Northeast United States reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. During this time, Todd has cultivated meaningful relationships and has been recognized as a trusted advisor, valued partner, and team builder with integrity and loyalty.
Todd is also a seasoned trial attorney. Todd started and spent a significant portion of his legal career as a litigator in private practice in New York City and surrounding jurisdictions, including New Jersey. Todd’s practice included counseling and representing large and small transportation companies, insurance carriers, and other corporate entities whose operations can create significant liability exposures. For more than seven years, Todd was the Transportation Chair and a lead commercial litigator of a prominent New York law firm, successfully defending a significant number of legal matters in federal and state court, including catastrophic personal injury and death cases resulting from trucking accidents. Todd also has extensive experience defending clients in challenging and complex disputes, sounding in negligence, gross negligence, professional malpractice, breach of contract, breach of warranty, product defect, unjust enrichment, fraud, and unfair and deceptive trade practices.
Todd will be providing our shipper, carrier, broker, third party logistics provider, warehousemen, and other clients with an array of legal services – with a particular focus in crisis management, supply chain risk management, auto and business litigation, investigations, hearings, regulatory compliance, mergers & acquisitions, contract drafting and negotiation, insurance coverage disputes, real estate, environmental matters, corporate structuring, and finance.
