Elle has a distinguished background, having earned her law degree from Georgetown University and amassing years of experience as specialized transportation counsel. Prior to her time here with Taylor Johnson PL, she held a key role as an industry insider at the United States Department of Commerce where she served as a litigator and special advisor in the Office of the Assistant General Counsel for Employment, Litigation, and Information, taking on matters involving and key to the transportation and logistics industry.
In her time with Taylor Johnson, Elle has counseled countless clients, using her unique skill set and industry experience to draft and negotiate all forms of transportation agreements and successfully guide clients through the unique challenges posed by our industry and its regulatory framework. Whether she is representing motor carrier clients through compliance reviews, performing mock safety audits as part of a complex Merger & Acquisition transaction, establishing corporate structures to mitigate organization risk, advising on operational and contractual enhancements to better position the Firm’s clients under applicable rules and regulations related to driver and helper misclassification, or presenting crucial information on key industry topics at various trade conferences, Elle’s value to the Firm, its clients, and the industry as a whole is easily recognized and cannot be overstated.
